LA CURE GOURMANDE | Watercolour Cityscape shop painting

La  Cure Gourmande is a lovely sweets shop placed in the Place de la Marie in Aix-en-Provence- France.

If you have been to the southern area of La Provence, you may probably have visited Aix-en-Provence. On the left side of the Place de la Maire, there is a lovely shop with bright yellow doors and windows. Beyond them all kinds of cookies, chocolates, bonbons, lollies, and beautiful boxes filled with all the sweets you may remember from your childhood. So, you may decide to step in and let you spend some pleasant moments or to turn off and not think about it.

The one I have painted is placed here, and the day I was there, the sun was going through the foliage of the big trees of the square, illuminating the shop with its yellow colours. I could not resist and made a painting out of it.
