NEW WORK
A BASKET WITH PEONIES
Size ca: 51 × 35 cm — 20“ x 14 ”
In my garden there is a group of peonies plants that are over 60 years old and every year they bring out a big amount of flowers. I use to let them on the plant and not to cut them but this time I could not resist and fill a basket with them to make a nice bouquet for my table. This time I painted the basket, maybe I paint next will be the bouquet. I hope you like it!

The seasons inspire me
Sometimes are just some flowers or just some dry leaves or a nice house in the town or a nice street, but most of the time are the seasons of the year the ones inspiring me.

Nearby my house there are some ride stables where I used to go to make walks with my dogs. It was in the late afternoon when the sun going down show me the beauty of this autumn scene. Watercolour 46,5 x 31 cm – 18,30 x 12,20 in.

She just walked this nice street in Aix en Provence without looking rigth or left. I called her “Esmeralda” like the colour of her jacket.
